Welcome to the website of the Office of Dr. Barry Auster and Associates - also known as Oakland Aesthetic Dermatology. We are located in the Forest Park Complex at 31420 Northwestern Highway, Suite 150 in Farmington Hills, between 13-Mile Road and Middlebelt. Our phone number is 248-538-0109.

We have enlarged our professional staff to service you with the addition of a physician assistant, Sheli Tinkelman, PA-C. She has been with our practice for several years, and is highly trained and experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of all skin disorders.

We have lasers available for multiple conditions, specializing in the non-invasive laser fotofacial, which corrects the signs of sun damage such as liver spots, spider veins, and fine wrinkling. Also we have lasers available for treating birthmark hemangiomas, rosacea, spider veins, tattoos, certain moles, and excess body and facial hair.

CoupleWe are able to treat spider veins of the legs with either injection sclerotherapy or the highly effective Vasculight laser. We also provide full body ultraviolet light treatment and are now using the advanced EXTRAC laser for psoriasis.

At Oakland Aesthetic Dermatology, we perform a wide variety of chemical face peels and microdermabrasion for sun damage, acne, dark circles under the eyes, mild scarring, and superficial wrinkles. We have treated numerous patients over the years with collagen injections and Botox, and we are now using Juvéderm, a longer lasting restylane for facial wrinkles.

At our office, we have the resources to treat all aspects of skin disease including acne, dermatitis, skin cancer, and pediatric problems.
