Our Medical Director, Dr. Granowicz, searched to find an effective hair removal system that was pain-free. After years of searching he found the Aesthera PPx system. With the assistance of a gentle vacuum system, Aesthera delivers Intense Pulsed Light at lower levels than competing systems, allowing clients to receive a very effective treatment and a comfortable, and pain-free experience.

Unlike many other systems that you may have experienced, the Aesthera PPx needs only a mist of pure water, and never requires dangerous anasthetic lotions or creams to numb the skin.

If you've had laser hair removal before, or know someone who has, you are aware of how painful an experience it used to be. The sensation has been compared to having rubber band snaps on your skin... but not the Aesthera system. With Aesthera, you'll feel your skin gently drawn toward the light source, and then a warm sensation (not unlike the warmth of a person touching your skin)... It's that easy.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Using Photopneumatic Therapy, unwanted hair is effectively and painlessly removed from treated areas.

What that means is that a wand-like device is placed on the surface of the skin at the area being treated. A gentle vaccum is applied, drawing the hair folicles toward the wand. A pulse of intense light (IPL) flashes, and destroys the folicles at their base. The process is repeated across the entire treatment area. Clients often describe the process as feeling like a warm massage

Since hair grows in cyles, this process is repeated over a period of time (from 4-12 weeks between treatments) until all unwanted hair has been eliminated. The number of treatments depends upon the area being treated and the individual patient. Typically, 6 - 8 treatments yeild excellent long term results.
