CANDELA Smoothbeam
SmoothBeam was designed for efficiency and safety for patients. It consists of non-ablative treatment of periorbital wrinkles, acne, and acne scars with an optional 6mm spot size for even faster treatment sessions.

SmoothBeam was the first laser with FDA clearance for non-invasive treatment of acne and acne scars. The concept behind Smoothbeam is to cool the epidermis and simultaneously heat the dermis. Vbeam's versatility enables treatment of a wide range of vascular lesions, including: periorbital wrinkles, facial veins, rosacea, leg veins, port wine stains, hemangiomas, scars, stretch marks, and warts.

Parisian Peel brand medical microdermabrasion is a quick, gentle skin renewal process that can treat superficial blemishes on your skin caused by aging or too much exposure to the sun.

Originally developed in France, the Parisian Peel process has been used successfully throughout the world to treat fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, acne scars and similar skin conditions.

Microdermabrasion is not a chemical, not a laser and not a surgical procedure. Instead, the Parisian Peel system gently buffs the surface of your skin to remove the rough outer layer of cells and uncover the smoother, softer skin beneath. You'll feel minimal discomfort - only the glow of newer, fresher skin.

A typical Parisian Peel treatment takes 15 to 20 minutes. A series of 5 to 10 treatments may be required to obtain the best results. What Hair Can Be Removed?

How Does The Laser Clinic Remove Hair?
The Laser Clinic uses Alexandrite and Yag lasers which emit a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed.

The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unaffected. The skin is further protected during treatment by a Dynamic Cooling Deviceâ„¢ (DCD) where cryogen is sprayed onto the skin cooling the upper layers and providing patients with increased comfort.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect?
Facial and bikini areas are usually completed in under ten minutes; legs, backs and larger areas will take longer.

Typically within 3-6 treatments the hair has been successfully removed. Multiple treatments are needed to allow destruction of the hair follicles in various stages of development, Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen. Different hairs are in various stages of the growth cycle and different anatomical locations have different cycle durations.
